What is it?
It is simply the process of creating a design by stacking layers of colored glass, then melting the stacked glass in a kiln into one smooth piece.
How does it work?
1. Decorate it
Choose a piece of glass and create a design
by gluing on small pieces of colored glass.
It's kind of like decorating a cookie!
2. Fuse it
Your glass will be "fired" in a kiln to melt it
into one piece.
3. Slump it
A fused piece of glass can be placed in a mold and heated in the kiln again to form a 3D shape, such as a plate or a candle dish.
